SKULLZ BRAIN & TRAIN: How I Overcame My Physical & Mental Health Struggles.

Hello and welcome to SKULLZ Brain & Train, a blog where I share my journey to make life better for myself and others. My name is Steve, and I am a up and down again, healthy and strong male who has battled mental health issues for almost 30 years.
I have suffered from anxiety, depression, and PTSD since I was a teenager. I was askinny little kid, then an overweight dad! I have faced many challenges and hardships in my life, such as abuse, trauma, addiction, and loss. I have also experienced many joys and successes, such as love, friendship, education, and career.

Through it all, I have learned that taking care of your mind and body is essential for your well-being and happiness. That’s why I decided to start this blog, to share with you the tips, strategies, and resources that have helped me cope with my mental health issues and improve my physical health.
In this blog, you will find posts about topics such as:
  • How to manage stress and anxiety in a healthy way.
  • How to overcome negative thoughts and emotions
  • How to practice mindfulness and meditation
  • How to exercise regularly and eat well
  • How to set goals and achieve them
  • How to build self-esteem and confidence
  • How to cope with trauma and PTSD
  • How to seek professional help when needed
  • And my own personal experiences with this list!
My goal is to inspire you, motivate you, and support you on your journey to make life better. I hope that by sharing my story, you will feel less alone and more hopeful. I also hope that by reading my blog, you will learn something new and useful that you can apply to your own life. If I can help JUST ONE PERSON, this will be more than an accomplishment for me!
I am not a doctor, therapist, or expert. I am just a regular guy who has been through a lot and wants to help others who are going through similar things. It also helps me to get things of my chest. I am not here to give medical advice or diagnose anyone. I am here to share my personal experiences and opinions. Please consult with your doctor before making any changes to your health or lifestyle.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you will stick around and follow me on my journey. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to contact me. I would love to hear from you.

Remember: You are not alone. You are not weak. You are not hopeless. You are strong. You are brave. You are worthy!

Cheers,

Steve
